Our church building will remain accessible. Murray has been in the role of director for Mission Global for the PAOC for the past 17 years. As of last year, PAOC Missions is:<br><ul><li>257 Global workers</li><li>70 countries</li><li>about 8000 sponsored children</li><li>almost 800 Bible graduates in this past year</li></ul>Murray has 21 staff members that take care of everything from administration, communications, strategy and mobilization, education and training, donor care, and everything in between. This workshop is an opportunity to fill the void that still remains and to begin to heal the wounds that come from not experiencing a mother's love.<br><br>Space is limited to 25 women and refreshments will be provided. One of the most poignant moments of the crucifixion is when Jesus cries out to God, feeling abandoned and alone: "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" This moment of profound separation and despair is a reminder of the depth of Christ's sacrifice and the immense love that led him to the cross.<br><ol><li>Did you notice that Jesus for the first time refers to “My God” rather than “My Father.” Why do you think that is?</li><li>Which can be worse:&nbsp;emotional or physical pain?</li><li>Why did Jesus have to experience separation from his father in order to atone for our sins?</li></ol>As we welcome the arrival of spring, I hope that it brings you a sense of rejuvenation and renewal. It is also important to remember that as Jesus hung hour after hour on the cross, he was fully human. Only a human could pay the penalty for our sins. Someone who knew what it is to experience all of our pain and trouble. His intense thirst points us to his humanity. What set Jesus apart and made him the perfect sacrifice was that he never sinned against God.<br><br>Please take the time to read the following verses to see Christ’s humanity. As you read, remember that He knows all that you are experiencing and is willing to carry those burdens for you if you would only ask Him.<br><ul><li>2 Corinthians 5:21:&nbsp;God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.</li><li>Hebrews 2:14:&nbsp;Since the children have flesh and blood, He too shared in their humanity so that by His death He might break the power of him who holds the power of death — that is, the devil.</li><li>Hebrews 4:15:&nbsp;For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are — yet He did not sin.</li><li>Matthew 4:2:&nbsp;After fasting forty days and forty nights, He was hungry.</li><li>John 4:7:&nbsp;When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, “Will you give me a drink?”</li><li>John 19:28: Later, knowing that everything had now been finished, and so that Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, “I am thirsty.”</li></ul></div></div><div class="sp-block sp-heading-block " data-type="heading" data-id="6" style="text-align:start;"><div class="sp-block-content"  style=""><span class='h2' ><h2 >Youth Sugar Shack</h2></span></div></div><div class="sp-block sp-text-block " data-type="text" data-id="7" style="text-align:start;"><div class="sp-block-content"  style="">Trinity's Youth group is going to the Sugar Shack on Saturday, April 1st. Being in a position of suffering and imminent death, this must have been an incredible moment of comfort and victory for that criminal.<br><ul><li>Do you have this kind of confidence about what will happen in your afterlife?</li><li>What is it about what the criminal says to Jesus that is so&nbsp;key&nbsp;to his salvation?</li><li>How might this situation have gone differently if Jesus had defended himself from the insults that were at this moment being used against him?</li></ul>This Sunday will be another great opportunity to invite a friend or family member who doesn’t know the Lord.
